About Mae
Mae Cooper
Graphic Designer, Braillist
Austin, TX
While studying graphic design at Austin Community College, I had the privilege of working at Texas School for the Blind & Visually Impaired, where I designed and adapted materials for blind and low-vision students. This experience broadened my perspective and elevated my understanding of inclusive design. I am currently seeking my first full-time design role where I can apply my experience and to design user friendly solutions.
When I'm not actively designing, I love exploring Austin's 20+ public library branches. Beyond that, I make it a point to visit museums and galleries as often as possible. The local art scene is a constant source of inspiration and I'm always looking for new perspectives, having a great time along the way!
